Psychedelic Sixties: “Norwegian Wood”
In our next live stream, Michael Violette of String Sound Studios revisits the “Psychedelic Sixties” with a lesson on “Norwegian Wood” by The Beatles! He’ll cover concepts like simplified melody, using chords while sustaining a melody, playing chords and melody in the same position, and modal interchanges. As always, Michael has prepared a fun and comprehensive lesson, complete with a play-along backing track, as well as many tips, tricks, and insights on playing guitar.
If you’re looking to learn some new ideas about playing guitar in the style of hundreds of tunes from the ’60s, then this instructional video is for you! And if you watch live, you can even ask questions in the chat box! So join us this Friday, take out that guitar, and follow along.
